Discovery of high antibacterial and antitumor effects against multi-drug resistant clinically isolated bacteria and MCF-7 and AGS cell lines by biosynthesized silver nanoparticles using Oxalis corniculata extract

The green technique is a unique way to produce functional nanoparticles. We examined the synthesis of Ag nanoparticles (O-AgNPs) by extract Oxalis corniculata. Green-synthesized O-AgNPs were accomplished monitoring critical factors such as concentration, pH, reaction time, and temperature. Several analytical techniques, including scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, diffraction analysis, UV-Vis applied characterize O-AgNPs. SEM analysis showed with spherical shape an average size 33.57 nm. XRD pattern indicated face-centered cubic (fcc) structure prepared anticancer activity synthesized was investigated in MCF-7 (breast) AGS (gastric) cell lines, indicating high effects against selected lines. growth all bacteria containing Gram+ Gram- inhibited greater inhibition comparison conventional antibiotics. As result, our AgNPs using plant extracts exhibited antibacterial activities.
